As a result Land Rover are researching a new remote control technology that represents a stepping stone towards the fully autonomous car. It could be used by the driver to manoeuvre their car out of difficult situations safely or negotiate challenging terrain, whilst walking alongside the car at a maximum speed of 4mph.

We’re looking for a number of roles within this team, namely the following:

ADAS Engineering Jobs – We’re hiring!

Edison are currently looking for a number of engineers with experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to work on long-term projects in the UK.

We’re looking for outgoing and enthusiastic engineers with a strong technical background in systems, software, and hardware engineering.  Your skills should include a broad understanding in automotive electrical systems in areas such as ADAS, chassis / powertrain control, and have knowledge of tools such as DOORS, SysML, Matlab / Simulink and the Vector CAN toolset (i.e. CANalyzer / CANoe).

Specific experience in the following areas would be of significant interest:

  • Vehicle diagnostics / network architecture
  • ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), AEBS (Active Emergency Braking Systems), Lane Keeping Assist
  • Vehicle radar systems
  • Automotive (or similar) camera technology

We have roles available from entry-level through to experienced engineers.
