Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey in the development of a new fixed wing aircraft, as part of this support we are looking for a Maintainability Engineer. Candidates will have extensive experience of Maintainability ideally within military aircraft development but we will consider candidates from the wider aerospace industry.
This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract based at our client’s facility just outside Ankara, Turkey. The rate/salary will be dependant on the individual’s seniority and experience. Due to Turkish employment regulations successful candidates will have to enter the Turkish tax system.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be nationals of NATO member states and must be eligible to obtain their national security clearance. We are unable to process applications from candidates outside of the NATO member states.
Extensive knowledge and experience on fighter aircraft systems components and software and speciality engineering methodologies and tactics.
Evaluation of customer/operational needs to develop Maintainability Design Requirements.
Allocation of top level requirements to design team as well as development of Maintainability predictions.
Review engineering specifications drawings and DMUs to propose design improvements.
Provide overall Maintainability including human factors expertise and judgement as necessary.
Provide continuing technical guidance to design engineer regarding maintainability characteristics of equipment to ensure that design activity results in equipment and systems that meet high maintainability and human factors standard.
Provide inputs to RMST Plan development implementation and maintenance
Development and maintenance of the respective RMST Modelling
Reliability and maintainability prediction and allocation and related analysis such as RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance)
RMST technical information coordination with Supplier
Development and maintenance of Availability Modelling
Provide continuing technical guidance to other maintainability engineer
Experienced on MIL-HBDK-472 MIL-HBDK-470 and MIL-STD-1472.
Experienced on 3D Experience Ergonomics Module and DOORs.
